Children's Painting Parties
Private Event Request
We would love to host your child’s birthday party or other special celebration at The Art Box! Our children's painting birthday parties are a creative good time for all ages!
How does it work?
You and your child choose the piece of art that is painted at your child's party. Google searches are great for finding ideas! You can also choose to paint plates, wine glasses, pumpkins, or something else instead of canvases! At one recent party, the kids painted tote bags!
Host family may arrive up to 30 minutes prior to event start time to set up. Party guests will then paint for approximately 1 hour, then celebrate for approximately 30 minutes (food, cake, etc.). The last 30 minutes is for the host family to extend their thanks, open gifts, and extend farewells to their guests. Parents should arrive for pick up during the last 15 minute period. Face Painting, if selected, will occur during the celebration portion of the event. Total event time = two hours, not including set up.
The staff is happy to assist you in any way possible during your event, and we will remove all trash and clean everything up for you at the event's conclusion. Unfortunately we cannot store any food or beverage items in advance of your event.
Nothing shall be hung from the ceiling and there shall be no confetti, firecracker cake toppers, or noise makers--otherwise, have a ball! Coolers are welcome for any items needing to be chilled, and there is a mini refrigerator and microwave on site should you need one.
We ask that you please refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages for children's events. Thank you for your consideration.
There is a 10-child/$200 minimum (20.00 per child), and every additional child is just $15 each. We can accommodate a maximum of 25 painting guests.
For an additional $50, we will also include face painting for all paid guests!
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due upon booking your child’s event. This deposit reserves your selected date and time, and it is applied toward your final balance due on the date of your event. So that we can be best prepared for you, art selection is requested at least one week prior to your party, and final head count is requested (to the best of your knowledge) 48 hours prior to your event.
In the event that your party needs to be rescheduled, kindly provide us with 48 hour notice. Less than 48 hour notice forfeits your deposit. Notice of at least 48 hours enables your deposit, without forfeiture, to be transferred to a future party date or to a future class. There are no refunds on deposits.
