Private Event Request
We would love to host your special celebration at The Art Box! No matter what the occasion, we'll make it the event they'll keep on talking about!
How does it work?
You get to choose the piece of art that is painted at your party. Google searches are great for finding ideas. Think about what you might like to paint. Send at least two ideas, just in case! You can also choose to paint totes, plates, wine glasses, bottles, pumpkins, wood signs, or something else instead of canvases!** Please note, selection may affect pricing. Please contact us for information on pricing for alternate items.
Host may arrive up to 30 minutes prior to event start time to set up. Party guests will then paint for two hours, with breaks to accommodate your event (cake cutting, toasts, gifts, etc). Please let us know if you have any special requests.
You provide your own food and drink for your event! If your event is being catered, please give us the caterer's information prior to the event so we may contact them to see if there are any special instructions.
The staff is happy to assist you in any way possible during your event, and we will remove all trash and clean everything up for you at the event's conclusion. Unfortunately we cannot store any food or beverage items in advance of your event.
Decorations
Nothing shall be hung from the ceiling and there shall be no confetti, firecracker cake toppers, or noise makers--otherwise, have a ball! Coolers are welcome for any items needing to be chilled, and there is a mini refrigerator and microwave on site should you need one.
Fees
For canvas paintings (standard size 12x16) there is an 8-adult/$280.00 minimum (35.00 per guest), and every additional guest is just $30 each. We can accommodate a maximum of 20 painting guests. Host/ess paints free! Discounts are available for weekday and/or afternoon events.
Holiday parties book quickly! If you're looking for Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas, or New Year's Parties--please contact us as soon as possible!
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due upon booking your event. This deposit reserves your selected date and time, and it is applied toward your final balance due on the date of your event. So that we can be best prepared for you, art selection is requested at least one week prior to your party, and final head count is requested (to the best of your knowledge) 48 hours prior to your event. We cannot hold a date without a deposit.
In the event that your party needs to be rescheduled, kindly provide us with 48 hour notice. Less than 48 hour notice forfeits your deposit. Notice of at least 48 hours enables your deposit, without forfeiture, to be transferred to a future party date or to a future class. There are no refunds on deposits.
